This is a science fiction story. Let me put my two cents in for Global warming awareness. This is my next story.

Its 2100 AD and there are very few trees left on this earth. Humans have not responded positively towards Global Warming and they have been cutting down trees. As a result there are very few trees left on the earth and are under the Government supervision. Due to Global Warming the carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere have tremendously increased. Over the years the very few trees left on this earth developed some kind of special powers in the form of intelligence. Mysterious and ominous things happen around our protagonist Steve Pereria, who is appointed as the new chief to take care of the trees. Who caused this Global Warming? what kind of powers did the trees gain? what mysterious things happen around Steve and What is the fate of the mother earth is explained in the story.
